Raiders have never drafted who people predicted though so i wouldnt be surprised on us taking someone like Mack or Barr (preferably Barr). Barr can play OLB and DE so his versatility makes him more desirable.

All depends if Allen was telling the truth about us keeping Houston, I love Lamarr kid is a stud and we can move him around the line, hes disruptive at every position. I can only hope we retain at least one of the DTs (Sims or Walker) if not both and Woodson and Young.

Then we can shop around abit to fill the rest of the holes, maybe get Incognito when hes released and some veteran corners to play with Porter and Hayden.

I dunno, he just looks average too me. His only stand out quality imo is his vision/decision making and he hits the holes with conviction, for a 5'8 200 28yo (sucks hes so old) kid hes got decent amount of power then again hes a canadian football star, we'll see how it translates..

at the end of the day, he'll prolly be a practice roster guy
he was the most dynamic offensive player in the CFL last year and now hes got a championship....

off tackle or scat back.. these guys are prototypical up here nh
could never run the A gap with any effectiveness in the bigs tbh

yea with rashad and latavious hes easily the number 3 or 4 guy if we dont sign a younger guy.

we need a decent kick returner though, Ford will be gone and Jenkins hasnt looked great when returning.

We need to draft a S 1st and maybe a WR in case we lose maclin or riley

First round picks are for QB, WR, OT, DT, DE (4-3), OLB (3-4) and corners. Positions like safety, guard, running back etc. should be addressed in later rounds for better value. This is one of the deepest safety classes in a while. No point in wasting a first. I'd be ok with any of the following draftees being our opening day starters:

Haha Clinton-Dix
Calvin Pryor
Dion Bailey
Craig Loston
Deone Bucannon
Ed Reynolds
Jimmie Ward
Tre Boston

As for WR, the free agency crop is so deep. Cooper isn't going anywhere and he won't cost that much. Remember, he has the race hate thing hanging over his head. It will turn some away. He'll be an affordable re-sign. Probably about 5 mill a year. Here's all of the free agents that will get signed before him:
