I didn't say there's not opportunity, I said it's projected as the land of equal opportunity, if you LIVE in America and you can honestly say the opportunities for people there are equal, all ethnicities, all races, orientations, then you're the idiot

The opportunities are not equal. That's one of, if not the biggest issue facing America(ns) today. But that issue is more prevalent in particular minorities born in this country than those that move here from elsewhere. Which again, is an entirely different topic. If you want to talk about everyone in America having the SAME opportunities, we can talk about that, but it'll be a short conversation because the answer is unequivocally no.

But that's not what you've been talking about, that's not the topic you forced. You were talking SPECIFICALLY about immigrants, and their opportunities for success in America. Not their opportunities for success vs. other Americans. Not their opportunities for success in spite of other Americans. Simply their individual opportunities.


These two topics, however correlated they may be, were not the same in this thread, until just now when you decided to combine them.
