I enjoy debating, but this is more about psychology. And yes, it is astounding to me the mentality of many people. It's something I am used to. Some people grow up in societies where they are supposed to be ashamed of sex, some where they are supposed to be ashamed of money. I don't subscribe to either of those beliefs.

If I am being honest, this is more disappointing to me than anything. I am not trying to "reform" Kurbz in some condescending way, but it is clear that he has some genuine hate for me. But he doesn't want to put me on ignore, either.

He seems very intent on affecting me, and gets upset with himself when it doesn't work.

That's just a really weird mentality to have, from my perspective.

You seem to get what I mean, and I appreciate your presence here.

Since your interested in psychology, then maybe you've seen Mark Mansons new book the subtle art of not giving a fuck. Anyway, he restates some ideas about values in a digestible way. Point being, the issue you speak of sounds like one of counter productive values.
