There's some truth to this tbh. Shortly after, he beat up the directors of Menace 2 Society for firing him from the movie, he wanted to play O-Dog btw. And then he shot 2 off duty police cops after that.

His music started to changie to more gangsta when he developed more of a criminal record and thought people were trying to kill him.

His first album was completely political just explaining the trials and tribulations that a young black man experiences in Urban America.

The shit sold back in the day and he was smart enough to realize it and became rich off of it.

Also, his songs weren't "advanced" with any type of wordplay to speak of. The shit was basicaly Dr. Seuss read by a nigga. He was a gay nigga that saw an opportunity to get rich and famous and went for it, and eventually got himself into a situation he couldn't get out of and got killed for pretending to be a gangster when the nigga should have just became famous for dancing or some shit and lived a long happy life with his boyfriend and 3 pomeranians.
