You can set up your round as a corner shop stoop, have your homies chilling, and rap back n forth as you sell drugs a la Wire, or whatever, you can set up your round as inside a strip club with girls etc. you can put a car onstage with smoke effects and take the crowd for a ride, you can make a round inside a restaurant a la seinfeld and talk shit while eating chicken with Big T and Charlie clips, you can set up a round on a different planet. INFINITE creativity. You can create abstract timeless concepts, remember this will be filmed, it acts as your music video, your promo video, YOUR movie. Remember, sitcoms were mostly filmed live as theatrical productions. Sitcoms have way more fans than music does. Sitcoms are more accessible to everyone and much more entertaining than simple 2 mc clashes (which btw is the backbone of this and is not getting lost, the opposite, actually). Most importantly, sitcom style productions have room to grow, unlike the current battle rap form. Smack wanted to make something like smackflix, except he didnt have a clear vision. Here, I give it to you, for the cultcha. It's the blueprint to hollywood. All you gotta do is set the stage up, you got all the actors we already love (or hate) and let their creativity shine. Let them create, they the artists, not you. No boxing match up ever will top Rocky movies, not in the box office nor in entertainment replay value. Boxing is a dead end, look at mayweather. Movies are INFINITE. Fuse movies with music and live performance, stand up comedy, spoken word, live instruments, etc. etc. Cirque de soleil, Colliseum, the whole fucking Matrix, ya hearddd?
