Awesome review [MENTION=8767]Crow42[/MENTION], and I bet is is sacrilege to criticize you but this really bugged me

-2 SIDES OF THE CROWD
(After a certain amount of time)
The crowd started chanting "WE WANT BATTLES", which was fine.
It started getting BAD when all of the out of towners were drunk and started screaming through every round.

All of the out of towners? Really?

I don't know you IRL but based on your posts, I think you're better than that.

& I know you've been to more URL events than anyone else and you're an NYC native/local but still, come on, 'all of the out of towners'?

But um yeah
Out of towners seem to be the majority of the crowd
I call them out towners not as a diss but it's pretty clear these people aren't from the city

When I was in the south last year
Tons of people called me an out of towner (because I'm not from the south)

Anyway
Them people pretty much come in droves and are responsible for the Gwitty like atmosphere with all the yelling and hollering u hear on all the URL battles (dating years back)

Magic had his moments esp in the end of the 3rd but it was surprising to see Magic and Chilla not mesh as well as some people would have hoped.

Other teams seem to have none of it
(Chilla&Magic was a huge disappointment)
Even Verb and ILL felt more like 2 single performances, rather than a unified attack.





-EVENT 3-OING PEOPLE
No lie this was my 3rd time watching somebody pass out and being carried out of a URL event.
(Smack grabs the mic and says the following)
"He'll be aight"
"Give him some water, some food"
"He'll be back" lmaooooo

-DOUBLE INCOMPLETION
This event like many other URL events has a bad aftertaste.
(It's a taste of incompletion)

Props for the writeup!

Chilla and B-Magic were disappointing?? why? did they not have good back and forth schemes, etc. ?? Same with Verb/Ill

Why were people passing out? Was it a lot of standing around in between battles?
