Jon Jones definitely is, but 1 New Yorker defending the belt, 1 New Yorker fighting for the belt is definitely a good look for a NY card.

What i would like to see regarding the middle weight division note i am basing my reasoning on "Who deserves it":

Bisping vs Jacare -
it just makes sense in regards toward who deserves it more than romero because Jacare actually fought another fight and won in great fashion, instead of waiting around which I believe the UFC should give him credit for. Romero got suspended and it would make sense for him to do one more fight as punishment.

Weidman vs Rockhold -
the main reason why weidman was even given a rematch because of the trash talk/that wheel kick, all those reasons point towards Rockhold, not Bisping thus why i do not see a reason why Weidman should get a title shot....but he would generate the most money on MSG card which i see the ufc leading towards.

Hendo vs Romero

Hendo announced one last title run, Bisping wants a rematch with Hendo but it makes no sense since Hendo hasn't been performing too well as of late..but that last KO holy shit! that did gave some steam into the hype train
If Hendo wants a title shot, a KO win against Romero would be the fastest shortcut into the conversation of title shot contenders.

Robert Whittaker vs Anybody left out -
Whittaker has earned a shot at anyone in the top 4, still a small name thus why you dont hear him being tossed around in the conversation but i believe in his abilities to do well against anyone in the top 4

You're 100% right, but fuck Jacare. Weidman will get the belt back at MSG imo. Anyway set up Jacare/Rockhold 2. For no 1 contender, pretty much Guaranteed Weidman gets the title shot at MSG. It would be a good look for Bisping if he could pull a w off on Weidman in NY.
