I agree, Khabib should have had his shot by now.

The difference is I don't hate on anyone for getting a shot, especially when they capitalize. And me thinking Conor has proven he did indeed deserve the shot doesn't automatically mean I think others aren't deserving.

Alvarez was 2-1 and got a title shot... the comparison isn't far off.

Like I said you hate Conor just because you hate him. That's fine, just stop trying to dress it up as being something more.

He beat the #1 and I think Gilbert was #2 or 3 at the time.

Conor beat Poirier and Siver. That's not a very good comparison.

Conor was also 2-1 his last 3 when he fought for the LW belt, and Nate wasn't a "top guy" at that point. He was 2-3 before the first McGregor fight.

There's no comparison.

So again, if Conor was undeserving of the shot, what does that say about Aldo and Eddie? Because he sure made easy work of them both. Guess some better people need to hold those belts because nobody has given a reason (in the cage) for him to not just walk in and take them.

Korean Zombie got a shot after 3 fights. It's not always about rankings, that doesn't mean rankings are pointless. Why give someone that got stomped out a rematch when you can give someone new a shot? Rematches have their place but just because you climbed back up the ladder or didn't fall far down it doesn't mean you automatically get the call. Conor was the only one in the top 5 Aldo hadn't beat, and he brought hype that hadn't been there in a while (Hence why Sonnen Silva happened, because outside the cage they were so different, just like Aldo/Conor). And especially hype from Europe which had been lacking. Edgar lost like a year before then, so it's not like he had been waiting forever. And his fight wasn't even close anyways. Aldo proved earlier this year Frankie still wasn't ready. So because he (Conor) didn't take his time and climb to the #1 contender that means he isn't deserving? Nobody above him was good enough to win, Conor was. Aldo had hardly been challenged by the other people he faced, including everyone "above" Conor in the rankings.
