you got plenty of players that could put thru balls in for him to thrive on tho.

I agree, this and Xhaka's signing might mean Wenger is going to try a more direct approach instead of the endless passing, or maybe even to the old Fabregas/Nasri days where we'd just counter everyone to bits. Which I would cheer because we have outstanding fullbacks and very rapid attackers. Besides Ozil (and perhaps Cazorla) all of our midfielders suit a 433 more imho I think Ramsey, Wilshere, Xhaka and Elneny would prosper in that.

during the season I was in a split tbh it's clear that he lacks the finishing ability to be considered a good center forward. On the other hand we've played our best football with him leading the line instead of Giroud (ManU at home, Leicester away). He definitely has a better understanding with both Ozil & Sanchez but I feel he offers very little for the 130/140k a week he's getting. It probably would be best for both parties to say goodbye, I feel like he'd be of way more use in a non-dominant side.

There were rumors Pep wants him at City (he'd probably offer more than Navas) hope that's true.

Same goes for Ox really but he's still fairly young, really needs to work on his decision-making though he screws up alot of potential goals with trying to play like Sanchez.

Well given the fact Leicester agreed terms with Arsenal it's pretty likely they haven't put in a similar/better offer

so a deal is pretty much guaranteed at this point yeah

Yeah, I can't imagine he'd be stupid enough to turn down the better wages Arsenal will offer, he's gotta think about his future after football. Considering most of the top players started earning decent wages around 18, he was late to it in comparison, he joined Leicester at 24/25.
