Some random stats...
In America:
20% of the population is disabled
15% of the population is Hispanic
12% of the population is black
6% of the population is asian
3% of the population is gay
2% of the population is jewish
1% of the population is muslim
0.5% of the population is transgender
trans rights big in the news but in truth theyre a marginal demographic

Local governments are always looking for ways to make life more accessible for the disabled, even if it's slow rolling at times.
Black rights are always in the public eye, and more and more accountability is being assigned as time goes on. Even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes. Hispanic typically gets lumped in here too.
Asians typically have it pretty well in America, they don't have a whole lot to complain about aside from some distasteful jokes here and there.
Gay rights have been huge for a while. Probably because it took 239 years of the 241 years America has been around to finally allow gay people to get married. Slow, painful progress.
Jewish people as a whole don't complain much either that I see. They get blamed for a lot, used as scapegoats, but overall treated fairly well overall.
Muslim American rights (as well as muslim immigrants) have been a huge part of the media coverage for 16 years. The primary victims of fear mongering.
It doesn't matter if trans people are only 1/2 of 1% (not that we'd know the true gender as there are plenty still who aren't comfortable "coming out"). It doesn't make them matter less, and they have the most push-back in their quest to be treated respectfully, next to muslims.
