Haven't personally heard of a company giving someone a job before background check cleared. Have heard of plenty that offer the job contingent on that check clearing, but you don't actually start working until then.

Yeah... It's probably because I worked there last year and my boss probably thought I was gonna get by like last year but the ones who checked it probably decided to check into my background again after it got approved.

Doesn't make sense because they hired me last year and said the charge was registered for me to get the job. Now it's not? Kinda crazy unless they didn't want me there and they were discriminating.

Where I used to work would hire anyone and then fire them at 90 days after a background check. I'm not sure exactlt how it worked tbh. Something about a probationary period and then you become a full hire at 90 days to get around corporate policy by adjusting how they classified new hires believe it or not. They couldn't keep regular people so would just hire and fire a ton of Motley's on a cycle.

Clarke if you got goodwill or any other charity warehouse or stores around you apply there. They don't pay great but goodwill for sure and probably some other charities will hire work release, felons, parolees, etc.
