I was thinking if battles are 3 rounds is it really fair to give a winner based on someone having 1 crazy round.
Can 1 round decide a battle?

Re: Can 1 round decide a battle?
He didn't really say, with a serious connotation, that Lux lost that 2nd round, did he?
That's like saying Math lost his third vs Rex
Like saying Shine lost the first round vs Surf
Like saying Hollow lost the first round vs Big T
Like saying Verb didn't beat hollow in those 2 rounds.
Blasphemy."Nobody on the corner runs circles round squares,
Like my circle cause my circle runs circles round theirs.
Lions in my circle run circles round bears,
Cause we circle round blocks and knock circles out squares."

Re: Can 1 round decide a battle?
You mean like the DNA/Diz battle? How Diz won the first two rounds (first clearly, second can be debatable), but "lost" the 3rd (both had too much filler imo, "get it when I blam it, somethin somethin" 12 bars about DNA not being real before the punchline came up) cause of that little stunt he pulled.. Which was genius, by the way.
I still give the battle to Dizaster, but some ppl do think a crazy round, line, or closer can justify them losing 2 rounds. I think only on RARE occasions can that happen.
Like in boxing or something, if we speak three rounds
Rd 1 10-9
Rd 2 10-9
Rd 3 8-10
Both add up to 28. It's a tie, even tough boxer A won the first 2 rounds. Boxer B won the last round by a bigger margin."Nobody on the corner runs circles round squares,

Lions in my circle run circles round bears,
Cause we circle round blocks and knock circles out squares."

Re: Can 1 round decide a battle?
I've seen one round dictate a filmed judges opinion
But most of them are not very smart
You can judge a battle by whatever criteria you see fit...but I think the whole body of work is the best way to consider a winner
