In prisoners 2 he was talking about the point of view of a prison guard. He 's saying they are prisoners in a sense until there shift is over and the anger a prison guard feels when a prisoner completes his or her term and is free, but he is still stuck in prison. The hook is basically saying of it were up to the guard, they wouldn't unlock the prisoners for the reasons I stated above and the possibility they could hurt him/her. That's what I got from it.

exactly. That's what I like about lupe. Now that he left Atlantic hopefully he keeps making music like this and not lasers. Now I'm just waiting on kendrick Lamar, and the slaughterhouse album and my life is complete lol.
