One half of the Inglewood, Cali duo U-N-I, Thurz lets loose his new solo mixtape in preparation for the album, “Blood on the Canvas.” Thurz traces his roots from LA to the Ivory Coast & Belize, and his eclectic upbringing can be heard in the interesting sounds he’s chosen throughout his group’s four projects, and last year’s solo effort “L.A.
