Speaking of Milwaukee, I watched the movie The Wrestler last night. Randy "The Ram" Robinson was working at a deli counter while begrudgingly wearing a name tag that said Robin. I tried to think of a man with the name Robin and the Milwaukee Brewer's Robin Yount came to mind. Honorable mention goes to @Robin Williams.

The Wrestler is a pretty flawed film but a somewhat decent character study,its defiantly not a film that enriches after multiple viewings...and it honestly would of benefitted more if it had a longer run time to flesh things out properly


Where would you rank it compared to other Darren Aronofsky

Id put it above Pi but none of his other films,only one i haven't seen is Noah...not sure how ill feel about it knowing the subject matter.

Yeah it is kind of short and disjointed for such critical acclaim. Mickey Rourke is great though. The ROH and CZW spots were cool too. I saw it when it first came out. I recently got in the habit of picking up Blu Rays from the library because the quality is so much better than watching shit online for the most part. The only other Aronofsky film I've seen is Requiem for a Dream and that was so long ago I barely remember it.
