and @k rich ,over here you only go to trial if you plead not guilty or make no plea,if you are gonna plead guilty here it would be at a pre trial hearing,intermediate diet it is called up here,dunno about england or tht.

thts wit scouser was meanin,its only called a trial here if you ain't pleadin guilty,every other court appt has a diff name

Nah, there's like a shit load of stuff to go through. Like you get arrested, go to court the next day, get told if you can go on bail, come back to see if they have evidence etc all that.
