yea i used to fux wit this dude i was into the memory championships


and this is definitely NOT the toughest challenge he ever had, memorizing 4 digit numbers is actually really easy especially when they all have their own unique item to associate them with. I explained the technique on RM one time but 4 digits are especially easy


you remember two of them with your left memory and two of them with your right memory.


you know how sometimes you'll be trying to remember a phone number? so you'll be like alright its 398 and then you store the 398 part in your left memory and then repeat the last 4 digits to yourself while you dial it?


its like that just trained more and easier bc its only 4 digits.


also all the numbers have their own symbol which creates a story

some examples of hard shit duke would do is take 4 decks of cards shuffle them together and memorize them all by number and suit in order

yeah theres more things to look up but the symbols i used were these

1 - candle
2 - coat hanger
3 - triangle
4 - flag
5 - star
6 - bomb
7 - boomerang
8 - snowman
9 - balloon
0 - hole

so if the numbers like 6018

the story is "I threw a bomb in a hole and used a candle to melt a snowman" and duke can just do it endlessly creating a story. you will end up having multiple different symbols for the same numbers so your story doesnt get too monotonous
