Throwback Classic JC vs Chilla Jones one-off, who really won? IYO

If you are familiar give me your take - Actually my favorite battle, I've listened to and/or watched this 30 plus times...so with as little bias as possible...

1st was clearly Chilla, JC had a tough round that could have stood against almost anyone's on that day but Chilla took it before halfway through the round

2nd JC came with some shit that blew chilla's momentum out, this is a very debatable round and the only one imo

3rd Chilla just has much crazier content and overwhelms

Chilla 3-0 with no bodybag.

It's wild how much people hate on him for having all these slept on (real deal, dialect) and corny or botched (arcane, qp, w.magic vs top&brizz) battles yet I think he is the one who made JC vs Chilla a classic.

Yeah he completely fell off, but he gets much more hate than others who fell off harder and those same rappers who overall have contributed less to the culture..

There's some truth to this.

I'm honestly gonna check that out because even though I'm a fan of the style and I think some like twork, glueazy have shades of the thing - in theory it's a fasttrack for fake vultures to blend into the culture?

On the other hand, cats like glu and nu jerzy twork are extremely talented & creative so they aren't good examples of battle rap degradation.

Chilla 3-0, but can't argue with 2-1 either.

This is my favorite battle along with Magic/Chilla.

Kind of wish that Smack did more small room one-offs.
