Does anyone notice the spiritual side of battle rap? Like when they use voodoo to make their opponents choke? Or when they make the energy switch up to throw their opponents off? Shit like that we all know rappers like dizaster use and harness demonic energy when they rap , while someone like The Saga doesnt,

lol what the fuck are you talking about. A good battler just learns to control the crowd, perform his bars and control their breathing/vocal projection to keep a flow going. if you battle someone that's mastered one of these in a battle you're going to lose. doesn't take voodoo to learn this shit.

A lot of entertainers feed off the energy of the crowd and people around them. In competitive situations, the energy of the opponent can be thrown off. In sports, martial arts, video games, and in anything else competitive the objective is to disrupt the energy flow of your opponent.

Battlers can turn the crowd against their opponent in order for them to receive negative energy from the crowd. Too much positive energy can also throw off your own energy.

There's definitely something spiritual going on whether the performers know it or not.
