Tesla does get recognition, but in a different way.
Tesla was a brilliant inventor but did not connect to the average person the way Jobs did.
If we all carried around Tesla Coil's and used them for everyday practical use, we would remember him the same way we do Steve Jobs.
Who here doesnt have at least a single Apple product at home?
When you use a Windows PC, do you say "Thank you Steve Jobs" since he was responsible for Graphics Interface as opposed to typing digits and numbers on a black screen? No, because you dont feel the connection.
But with Apple products it's completely different.
He literally worked himself to death building those beautiful and revolutionary products.
Plus Jobs never cared about being rich. He never had a huge mansion with security guards. He worked at Apple on his comeback for about 5 years making $1 a year as CEO. He only started negotiating for stock options because he enjoyed the challenge of outthinking his own board members.
He had 0 furniture in his home until he was 30
Just a blanket to meditate on, some books, a painting and a lamp
