when your events most interesting battle is a joke then that says something about your brand...

the last year has been hard on KOTD with a lot of disappointing events and performances...

highlights are dizaster vs iron solomon... bigg k and fresco performances... and cadalack rons death...

everything else seemed underwhelming...

one disappointing title match and then an even worse one to follow up leaving kotd with a champ nobody cares about...

expensive battles like arsonal vs shotty 2.0 being set up that nobody was asking for...

dizaster vs gjonaj being taken from URL only for gjonaj to choke and dizaster to give us only one round of real content...

the first massacre was disappointing with the exception of bigg k vs ill will...

back to basics has become more of a dud than something cool...

bad match ups are to blame for the most part...

with URL building steam and having success with holding events more frequently... if massacre2 isnt a completely different animal from kotds more recent events... they may have lost the war...

B2B4 was terrible, no matter what KOTD stans say.

Hollow vs Pat alone should be solid enough....but hopefully the other battles will all be worth watching. I don't see how K vs Ice, Myers vs Gjonaj, and Pass vs Bagz could be disappointing.

They must know how underwhelming B2B4 was, at least I hope so.

the release schedule
the success of new concepts/events/venues

and the luck of drama in one battle leading to another event (unfinished business)

has URL rising while KOTD stumbling a bit
even with Massacre being solid (great card so far) its still KOTD just maintaining and needing to innovate for the next events

even DF and UW know their place and put less frequent/expensive events


I mean roster wise KOTd hurting with what you explained and a wack champion situation

while the rookies vs vets gamble paid off for URL and even when you thought the top tier was saturated URL manages to inject fresh blood and put pressure on the vets to excel

i gotta say i am a big KOTd fan but if you are analysing these Companies like the stock market URL is apple and KOTD is like IBM/Dell

To be fair I remember the purpose of Bunker events was to have more events with smaller cards so obviously they didn't throw their whole weight into quality matchups.

Not a KOTD stan but Massacre2 does have a lot of potential
