No doubt. I read you can gain valuable enlightenment from this stuff.
In about to read "Be Here Now". Seems to be like this underground book full of enlightenment and shit. I think it's a story of a Harvard psych professors trip to India in search for intuition n shit. I won't do the psychedelics but I'm down for meditation.

how can u say what it seems to be like if you havent even read it and arent a harvard psych professor? thats like me trying to tell people what metallicas like, stay in ur lane

everyday zen was my introduction, so that. my copy is pretty worn out.
after that would be the three pillars because it's actually shows you the steps to the zen path. if you get one book and want to meditate -- get this.
hagen's book takes a realllly different approach to zen. he even discusses physics and its relation to buddhism. i hear his everyday zen is a great starter but i haven't read it.
