Round 1. Debatable. I preferred DNA he wasn't showin out but he got threw his shit clean. Roc getting stopped after every line is the most irritating thing about this battle cause 80% of his shit was just ..OK. u ain't trez nigga u ain't fire every line. But the fans eat his shit up at this point i think it's just become the cool thing to do.

Round 2. Dna clearly. He was nice, D- nanny worse scheme i've heard this year set up was all crumbs... imagine d being a nanny? Smfh

Tsu surf got some shit and I'm not taking anything away from him, but in terms of gassed up non inteligible bars Tay Roc vs Surf would be a match for the ages.

Nah. Surf gets called on his reaches. He has memorable reaches but they ain't too frequent. Tay roc sprinkles reaches throughtout all his rounds and is welcomed with mass adulation

So here's my round for round breakdown. It's not great, but it's what I was thinking throughout the battle.
Disclaimer: I am not a fan of either of these dudes (DNA is retarded and Roc is basic as shit)

DNA Round 1:
Nothing memorable to me because of that GHTFOH and then NO bullshit he KEEPS FUCKING DOING. That shit was never hot.

Tay Roc Round 1:
Lit Cherry on a Cigarette/Swiffer Jet was fire
Batter (bat her) and fry chicken was decent
Feel like I've heard the can from under the shirt bar before
Mardi Gras top missing was decent
Saw the Eric Wright line coming
Medal (Metal) to who I'm nominating was fire
GHTFOH actually made me laugh with the Smack impression

Round 1 to Tay Roc

DNA Round 2:
Rebuttal was shitty
Lights out was decent
Mr T was decent
Church's was slept on
League scheme was actually fire
Rock Climbing currently best line in the battle
Real shit on Freestyle sense vs written sense
Don't really fuck with sports bars
Middle of murder is decent

Tay Roc Round 2:
Honestly haven't felt anything so far up to Rock Away
Green screen is decent
Washer and Dryer was hot
Ice bucket challenge bar is played out too me
Another case of battlers not knowing how to say Shoryuken (it's not that hard)
1-800/ calling collect was hot
Jesus christ that D/Nanny shit was the worst reach I've heard in a while

Not really great rounds from either. Kinda edging to DNA but any case for Tay Roc would be completely understanable

DNA Round 3:
Set up for Nunu Nellz was terrible but punch was alright
Clip a point (Clipper point) like CP3 was actually decent
Taking this Surf angle WAY to far for a New York crowd
Got in his feelings with the crowd but at least he freed with it instead of acting like Verb

Tay Roc Round 3:
Clowning Conceited
Side Piece was decent
Visine reaching
Buy a whole pack was fire
Bishop and Juice was fire
Boxer scheme now best part of the battle


Obviously ronud 3 to Tay Roc.

So overall, 2-1 for Roc. This wasn't the body that I got hyped up to see, but again, I'm not a big fan of Roc. He's decent and he works well with big crowds in NY, but he still has some things he needs to work on (he's approaching Surf level reaches).

I've been waiting to see this Tay Roc performance for a while, after all that hype that came from the those who attended the event. It was a bit of a let-down, if I'm honest.

I had Tay Roc winning 2-1. DNA took the 2nd round.

Don't think I'll be watching this more than twice in a lifetime.

Agree with all the Roc 2-1 votes. I hate when DNA goes into autopilot 1-2-3 punchline, 1-2-3-punchline, 1-2-3 punchline mode. If all of his rounds were like his Round 2, he'd be top 5 instead of mid-tier at this point.

Roc got the first, even though the crowd was fucking up the round and gassed up bars that weren't even that good.

DNA crushed the second, no contest. Roc crushed the third harder than DNA crushed the second lol.

really never been a fan of DNA and have actually found him to be wack most times but damn did they hype roc. I fuck with him heavy and always have, his delivery is what makes him so dangerous. He is equal parts Rex and Hitman. I thought he one regardless but damn they were gassing him hard.
