I got a friend who does the exact same thing as me for work but made $40,000 more than me this year..but he also worked waaay harder.

to be honest its the friends that im doing way better than that concern me... I got friends who still dont have jobs and shit, some that just turned out straight bummy and live with their parents at 24 years old. I rather they are doin better than me than worse, I hate seein friends of mine with no ambition to do better in life.

but yeah I have a couple friends who clear $100,000 a year and have dope careers that will last them the rest of their lives, and im definitely not there yet
maybe next year but I doubt it, im pretty lazy

my housemates make much more money than me now but i feel like i got i a brighter a future.

i feel like im doing better than pretty my all my friends lol but its all ~perspective~. i have a buddy making music overseas, imo that isnt doing something of value - but im sure he thinks it is and maybe thinks im wasting my time.

in any case comparing your success to others is not a good look - imo
