This is a misconception. If they grew up in the hood, they probably fought a lot because niggas thought they was soft. It's big niggas that don't get tested--the little guy is always trying to get took for some shit. So they usually learn to fight. If they don't, they certainly don't go into something as aggression-based as battle rapping.
