Boxing Triple G vs Kell Brook in Sept

On september 10th at the O2 Arena in London. Sky Sports & HBO will air it, the latter showing it on WCB so its not a PPV.

Kell Brook is 36-0 w/ 25 KOs. Hes got a title at 147, imo the current top dog at that division.

Triple G, Gennady Gennadyvitch Golovkin, is 35-0 w/ 32 KOs and clearly the best at 160.

Roman Gonzalez is expected to appear on the undercard, ill update if/when its official.

Saw that earlier today...wanna say Brook got heart to move up in weight and fight GGG.

But most likely he's only doing it cuz no other big name has given him a chance (Khan, Broner, Thurman, Bradley) which is pretty fucking stupid tbh...

Oh well, I got excited for Canelo vs Khan even though I knew what was gonna happen....still hyped.

GGG KO's him by rd 5.

Gonna nerd out & drop some info on both guys eventually, but heres some good fights coming this week.

On monday July 11th on HBO at 10:15 pm EST, Sergey Kovalev is having a stay busy defense from Russia.

Sergey Kovalev 29-0-1 w/ 26 KOs.
Isaac Chilemba 24-3-2 w/ 10 KOs.

The "money" here is that this is Kovalev's final fight before he takes on Andre Ward. Worth it live, if not definately catch highlights cause Krusher should have a brutal KO lined up.

Saturday July 16th, PBC on Fox 8 pm EST.

Sammy Vasquez 21-0 w/ 15 KOs.
Felix Diaz 17-1 w/ 8 KOs.

Deontay Wilder 36-0 w/ 35 KOs.
Chris Arreola 36-4-1 w/ 31 KOs.

Vasquez is a talented, growing, up & comer at 147. Tall, fast, southpaw. Diaz is a late replacement so i havent checked him out yet but hes an 08 gold medalist for DR.

Wilder will score a vicious KO or just absolutely destroy Arreola until the ref stops it.

Andre Ward next fight is vs super middleweight Alexander Brand on August 8th on HBO. The Kovalev fight should be in November, depending what date Pacquiao's next fight falls on.

Nah the contract Ward signed with HBO allowed for two tuneups & then the fight with Kovalev, Ward's next fight is his second tuneup.

Pac's high pay + him not getting a million buys anymore, I think Top Rank is gonna keep the fight in house. Realistically, Crawford-Postol winner or if we reaching then maybe Marquez 5 or rematch with Cotto.

The tale goes, Eubank Sr. made demands that forced promoter Eddie Hearn to call it off. I believe Eubank Jr truly wanted the fight, his dad didnt want it for him tho.

Bob Arum of Top Rank(Pac's promoter) says Broner wanted too much money.
