Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
Cowboy is stuck in a hard place. At 55 his chin holds up, but he's to skinny to take body shots. At 70 he can take the body shots, but they hit too hard and his chin doesn't hold up.

I believe cowboy is fine at 170, but its just his mentality that should be questioned. I always thought cowboy treated fighting as more of a hobby than an actual profession. Sure, he loves to fight....for the thrill of fighting, nothing more nothing less. He never cared to be the best nor has he ever really wanted a belt. The problem is that the people in the top 5 (or hungry no names like Till) want it more than cowboy and are willing to go the extra mile. The only extra mile cowboy is willing to do is driving his RV from one lake to another.
Cowboy doesn't study tape (or so he says) and only relies on drills designed by his coaches which imo why he is a slow starter, he wants to see what his opponent can do but during that time he is eating too many shots.
Does cowboy have the skills and potential? Sure. Has he been figured out? Yes. Till and Masvidal not only finished Cowboy but made it look easy.
