Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
In other news,
Mighty Mouse will murder a nobody live on PPV at UFC 201:
Demetrious Johnson didn’t want to wait around until the end of “The Ultimate Fighter 24†to defend his UFC flyweight title again. Now he won’t have to, because his next defense is set, and Wilson Reis is his challenger.
The flyweight title bout between Johnson (24-2-1 MMA, 13-1-1 UFC) and Reis (20-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) will co-headline July’s UFC 201 lineup.
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
Why do people constantly suck Hall's dick?
Has he genuinely showed any progression? Hes an elite striker, cool but can he stuff a take down?(gastelum mauled him durin TUF finale), hows he faired against other respected strikers? (couldnt do shit against Natal and looked trash vs Whitaker)
His best win is vs Mousasi and he just got lucky and clipped him with a knee and finished him iirc, if that knee didnt land theres a good chance Mousasi wouldve ended up submitting him.
Hall is an exciting fighter with a solid highlight real but when it comes down to it he aint championship material and can easily be beat if u dont stand in front of him like a moron.

This Reis guy is the sacrificial lamb to celebrate Mighty Mouse's new contract with the UFC.

First off nobody has beaten Hall "easily" all his UFC losses have been by split decision except for Whittaker who Uriah could've beaten if he was more aggresive the whole fight like he was in the 3rd round when it was too late. As far as his ground game goes all of that still needs more polishing but he's shown he is a problem when he is focused

Hall had good defense vs Mousasi on the ground pretty much the entire first round. Hall needs to iron out his problems. He could put anyone to sleep if he connects. He's one of the most off and on fighters though. He either shows up and exceeds expectations or is underwhelming af.
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
I agree with moose, regarding him beating up weidman (moose via verbal tko) and his comment about Hall.
Hall is a solid fighter, he knows enough ground work to get himself out of danger but not enough to keep the fight standing. One thing interesting about Hall that Joe Rogan always points out that Hall is too nice of a person to be a successful fighter, basically meaning he lacks the killer instinct that champions usually have.

Yea thats tru but he generally falls short against elite competition also which was one of my main points besides the fact hes inconsistent
Re: General UFC/MMA discussion, news, updates, etc.
I agree, no doubt. But, what I mean is he doesn't have to. He has all the skills to beat these guys, he falls short because of his mindset, not because he's not good enough to beat them.
