Ya that little ESPN/NFL spin zone was cool for a day. Then you realize the NFL had Jastremski and McNally's phones, meaning they would have had any conversation Brady had with either of them.
The NFL needed a headline because they came up with jack shit. If I'm Brady I don't let that "independent" scumbag Ted Wells near my phone. They were already intentionally leaking bullshit info to the likes of Chris Mortensen.
I just find it funny that the balls were supposedly under inflated in the first half, but the ones in the 2nd half were "normal". Brady was 12 of 14 for 131 yards and 2 TD's in the 2nd half and he was great in the Superbowl.
