Re: Canelo vs Kirkland! + PBC returns

Ya the Castillo fight was after corralles. So Castillo beat a good Floyd. Floyd was hurt and severely underestimated Castillo which backfired. Regarding Thurman no one is ready for Floyd. He just has a better chance to win then anyone else in the division minus khan. Other than khan and Thurman who can even make the fight close that Floyd hasn't fought already. Ya the GGG is not happening at all. I pray to God Floyd does not fight Garcia. Garcia got embarrassed his last fight and has no business in the same ring with Floyd.

That Canelo punch reminded me of the Marciano/Walcott 1 ko.

Ignoring politics, so Floyd would beat Desert Storm?

Just utubed Marciano/Walcott 1 that KO looked more brutal. Who's at 54 to challenge Canelo? Move up & fight Quill, Lee, Lemeiux, afterwards Gx3.

It definitely was more brutal, I mean just the aesthetics if the punch itself.

            I got ya

On a related note, finally saw the post fight interviews from May-Pac. I know Rocky's record gets compared alot, but my understanding is that his 49-0 record is for top heavies. If anything, Mayweather should have been asked to match Calzaghe or Ricardo Lopez's record smh.

Finally checked May-Castillo, i gave it to JLC 7-5. Considering the circumstances, i thought both did great. It was close but clearly a win for Castillo, not even a draw would be fair.

Exactly I also had it 7-5 to castillo. I couldn't believe it was a unanimous decision in floyd's favour. He was hurt, outworked, and couldn't control the pace like he usually does. I wish I could question the judges as to what reason they had floyd winning. They can't bring up stats, and they can't say floyd controlled the fight. I think God is on Floyd's side lol.

Thats tough man, JLC won the numbers game & landed the harder punches, like what more can he do. It was weird to see Floyd go southpaw, ive only seen him do that against Chop Chop. Fighting on the inside in rds 11/12 was cool too.
