The deal is not bad, 400M for up to 10yrs, thats a kind of money never seen before in the league. Other teams (read porto and sporting) got salty af demanding portions of the sum. They're mad because all the marketing in the world (read Casillas) couldn't give them this type of deals. Dudes can't even get a shirt sponsor.

It kind of messes stuff up because we've had Benfica TV for a few years now, and thats where our home games were broadcast for the last season or two, no clue how it will work out. Apparently NOS now owns the distribution rights of the TV station itself but I have absolutely no idea what it means.

Doyen is kinda doep, I'm usually against these player investment funds but they've fucked over this green team from Lisbon a few times, so gotta hand it to them.
