simple, the guy reached peak age and he probably wants to start every game and/or get a financial boost. You don't bench Gomes for that fee and Iniesta & Busquets will always start over Rakitic.

unluckily for him the PL is ridden with good playmakers otherwise it'd have been an easy link. Manure will need another playmaker if they're really selling Mata tho

its 80m because of various reasons; the market, napolis reluctance to sell to a rival etc. theyre buying him as a final push for CL i guess and theres no other world class 9's available (benzema should cost the same though? hes way better)

bentaleb seemed dope as hell but i think hes an overthinker who makes risky moves in bad spots. def talented so if the circumstances are good then go for it.

u might need to replace Jonas first...

hes not as good as Dier but still a very decent target for u I reckon, could do worse
wasn't really up to the intensity of the PL, picked up quite a few unneccesary bookings because of that.

but should be fine at SLB think southern european footie fits him more nh

bentaleb did ok in his first season under pochetinno when he played iirc

started last season in the first 11 but then got injured and dier took his place and he never got it back

we need a b2b whos willing to run up and down the fieldand is somewhat good with the ball on feet. bad thing about having a renato sanches, he became a key piece of our play, now hes gone and pretty much impossible to replace

@riko true. we've been playing guedes in the jonas role and hes actually pretty good up there, forming a great partnership with the young gun horta. not the one to bang in 20+ a season but the future looks bright
