ronaldo is his own biggest enemy. all these games and goals and assists, dudes overworked and probably playing injured for at least a couple of years now (or minor "stress-injuries" or however u call it)

he'd played every minute of every league game up til this injury

what a nice solo goal by Saul! hope Atletico wins this years CL tbh, it's been a long time coming, they do deserve at least one for the soccer they've been presenting these last cca 5 years, not to mention the mastermind behind everything, Diego Simeone, and how a CL trophy would validate him amongst the elite, even tho he's already there, but.......

If Pep wants a positive outcome from this game, this is what he needs to do:

Coman out, Ribery in (46')

Douglas and Ribery switch flanks.

If the result remains the same until ~ 70 min, then..

Thiago out, Gotze in

If Xabi Alonso gets tired (and yes he will) sub him with either Kimmich or Muller, depending on the scorline (80').

If Pep does these exact substitutions, I can promise him a good away result, possibly a 1-3 or 1-4 win.

Coman playing like a headless fly. Not saying he hasn't got talent, but he's too green to dominate a team like Atletico, and take on players who are tactically miles infront of him. All that he gives atm is speed and willingness to dribble, but that's not enough to worry Atleti's defence. Where tf is Ribery yo? Guardiola buggin'.

I hope Ancelotti wins the CL with Bayern, I think he'd be the first manager to win it with 3 different clubs. He ranks high with total number of CL titles too.
