I don't feel like saying much about this game TBH I'm expecting a fairly convincing win by Liverpool. I just feel they're entering this game with more self belief after that cracking Arsenal game, even though they did spill the lead twice. I still can't trust Louis Van Gaal's side enough to believe they're capable of coming to a tough away fixture and taking all 3 points. After that comical draw against Newcastle and hard fought victory against Swansea, they really shouldn't be getting anything more than 1 point from this game. A interesting statistic says that Louis Van Gaal has never lost to Liverpool, while this will be Jurgen Klopp's first game against United. If there is any significance to this game, other than their historical rivalry, it's the fact that both team are fighting for that top 4 place that leads into the Champions League. A win for Liverpool would level them up with Man Utd, staying 5 points behind a strong, but passable Tottenham side. On the other hand, a win for United, no matter how unlikely it sounds, would mean the world to them. These type of wins are always potential turning points for the rest of the season.
