I need to help clarify a few misconceptions.

Randall's biggest issues were his O Line and his coaching. The O Line of the late 80's early 90's was absolutely atrocious. Buddy Ryan focused all of his energy on the defense and whole heartedly believed his offense only needed to score 14 points to win so they never properly drafted offensive linemen. They just brought in old guys that were cut from other teams. Cunningham had weapons throughout his career: Jackson, Byars, Barnett, Quick, Bavaro etc. Randall had issues throwing into tight coverage because he was afraid to. Minnesota had a great O Line when he went there, so he had time to showcase his skills properly.

I don't think anyone can look at Mark Sanchez body of work over the past 3 years and blame him for failing. He had no run game, no receivers and a shitty O Line. Sanchez has talent, he just hasn't been surrounded by talent. He's not a top tier QB, but he's a hell of a back up. If Foles has a season ending injury in preseason, Sanchez is good enough to still lead the Eagles to NFC East Title. I think Sanchez recognizes the potential in a Chip Kelly offense and if given the opportunity, he can rehab his value.

Texans should've grabbed him though. Mark Sanchez + Jadeveon Clowney > Blake Bortles

same thing i said...there is MUCH worse that the eagles could have done for a third string qb than a former top5 pick...its not like they are paying him a shit load of money. and hes only coming here to be the THIRD STRING!!!! so its really a cant lose situation...literally the worst thing that can happen is that he plays good enough for someone to give up a late round pick in next years draft for him...or they cut him after the preseason and never pay him what they signedhim for...it really is a cant miss situation
