NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Jets have "inquired" on DeSean Jackson.
Most teams will be inquiring on one of the league's best receivers, but as RapSheet points, New York's inquiry comes in tandem with Michael Vick's visit. There have been conflicting reports on Jackson's Philly future, but it's pretty clear the Eagles are at least listening to the phone calls. With or without Vick, the Jets would make sense as a landing spot. Gang Green is starved for playmakers.

If Oakland was smart, they'd throw the Eagles some picks for DJAX and sign Vick. Then at least the fans would have a glimmer of hope to go along with the Donald Penn blockbuster.

More than likely Schaub to Oakland. Desean has more value then that. He's only 27.

Haven't heard anything from Carl or Stones about Sanchez possibly going to Houston. Thoughts?

With andre johnson and maybe another receiver they draft in the 2nd they could have a few weapons for whoever mans QB in houston.

i like Fitzpatrick tbh, hes a solid back up.

Hes like matt flynn if matt flynn could win games and be successful...

Fitz got a noodle arm but hes smart and really only makes bad decisions toward the end of games and is behind and trying to make a play with his lack luster arm...

This is one of the shittiest contracts I've ever seen. How do you get locked up for 5 years and only make 8 million on a team that is desperate for WRs?

Jerricho Cotchery's deal with the Panthers is for five years and $8.015 million.
The deal includes a $2.25 million signing bonus, and pays Cotchery a total of $3.5 million in 2014. The final three years are "voidable," and exist for the sole purpose of spreading out Cotchery's cap hit. It's an indication of how truly dire Carolina's cap situation is. For the moment, Cotchery is Cam Newton's No. 1 receiver.
