it's head to head not roto.

you'll get points for hits(1b worth 1, 2b worth 2, 3b worth 3, HR worth 4) steals (worth 2) walks

on the pitching side you'll get points for innings pitched, wins, k's, and saves
and lose points for runs walks hits allowed losses and blown saves.
edit: you will gain extra pts (like 2 or 3) for a complete game and extra pts(2 or 3 again) for a shutout.

a good team will have balanced point distribution from both sides, pitching and hitting
