Anyone else share the opinion that the image and aesthetics are just as important and in some occasions hold more weight than the actual music itself?
Two examples, and this is just my opinion so don't kill me please
1.Had the weeknd not changed his look and vibe he wouldn't have blown up.
2. Had J-cole not grown out his hair, forest hills drive wouldn't have been a hit.
"It's just hair how could that be a problem?" Some might say you know, but i think subconsciously it matters a lot, especially within the youth tbh.
