He's a victim of match ups. I dig steams, he's cool a the same time there are things that annoys me about him (like other battlers) he's stumbles, his voice at times and he hasn't had a wow battle to me.

Chess plays a factor in this too. Chess took away his light because he's more relatable with the fans. IMO. In 2 on 2s he gives chess the green light, it as if he a wonder bra (shout out to jjdd) pushing chess up. I honestly think steams is a better writer than chess, chess is good but the aggression with his performance captivates the crowd.
