The way the world works is due to the way space works. Think of this way, forget what you know about "space" for now space only refers to the literal space inbetween objects.

The larger an object is(the more mass it has) the more it bends space in our universe. It is a ton of matter in place of where there was no matter, think of it me putting my ball on a trampoline. I got a big ass ball, so it's going to sink the trampoline in. Now if I take [MENTION=15763]Justice[/MENTION] 's ball and place it on the trampoline it'll be pulled into my ball.
