This & Blue Velvet are David Lynch's best.

                    The Place Beyond The Pines
Most definitely The Prestige, one of a few films that seems to get better after multiple viewings.

Place Beyond The Pines i was mixed on, the 1st part was decent- but i don't care much for the 2nd half. Plus the ending seems so forced and lackluster.

For that i would watch Out of the Furnace for the 2nd time( i think its still on NF right now, unless I'm thinking of Hulu). Worth the watch for Woody Harrelson performance in it.
I liked TPBTP but haven't seen it since it came out. Just remember that I saw it recently on my Netflix watch again list.

Out of the Furnace is great and Woody is amazing. LIterally 2 mins into the movie, they should have handed this man an Oscar.

Agree with everything else you posted. City of God is one of my personal best.

thought out of the furnace was real uneven and the plot was contrived, some real nice performances tho. the first two acts of place beyond the pines were great imo, the part with the kids dragged. still a good movie
