Jose isn't going to stand straight in front of him to get hit by combos and risk getting taken down...thats the dumbest argument I've heard yet about this fight. Aldo and frankie both aggressed each other, Aldo was just better at not getting taken down and landing his shots accurately, unlike frankie.

Aldo fought better, which is the point of fighting lol

Aldo did not engage with Edgar, he stayed on the outside, fought safe, and counter punched.

He did what he needed to win, but he didn't "dominate" whatsoever. If Frankie wasn't the aggressor the entire fight there would have been no action at all.

Aldo engaged plenty of times and had frankie backing up a few times himself.

Yeah, Frankie was the aggressor, and that's why he lost the fight and wont become champion again because he only knows how to do 2 things, pressure and wrestling

Which both failed him this fight because Jose was the better fighter.

from the image you posted above you can see they landed the same amount of strikes and takedowns and jose had 1 more sig strike than frankie. i still agree that jose won and the judges did well with 49-46 but it wasnt no body. you can win all 5 rounds and still just edge the fight IMO

well neither of them really suck seeing as theyre former world champions but jose is past his prime and frankie is too small for the times. frankies had 5 loses and your boy aldo only just edged him bc he had the perfect game plan. keep ya chin up tho he got the W
